Construction Services Group LLC is owned and operated by three Managing Members: John Furgele, Darryl Cooper, P.E. and Jim Braun. Each project will be managed by one, two or all three owners depending on the size and complexity of the project. Please see qualification of each Managing Member on the following pages.
John Furgele
Managing Member
John has 35 years experience in the construction industry. Having served in all aspects of the business, John started as a field engineer working his way through many different positions during his career.
In his most recent position prior to establishing Construction Services Group LLC, John held the position of Vice President of Field Operations. In this position, he was responsible for approximately 35 field personnel to ensure the successful execution of the construction process. John also simultaneously held the position of the Safety Director. During his 5 years as Safety Director, he implemented numerous programs resulting in lowering their company EMR from 1.0 to 0.77. Some of the initiatives John developed are the qualification for the Delaware Compensation Rating Bureau discount program, employee training programs (OSHA, DNREC, erosion & sediment control, structural steel erection and CPR/First Aid) and a safety incentive program. John has also obtained the Green Advantage Environmental Certification.
Darryl Cooper, P.E.
Managing Member
Darryl has 25 years of professional experience in the construction industry including registration in Pennsylvania as a professional Engineer. Darryl started as a graduate engineer with the City of Philadelphia working his way through many different positions during his career. During this time, he has managed over $250 million in construction.
In his most recent position prior to establishing Construction Services Group LLC, he was responsible for all aspects of a $40 million expansion at Christiana Hospital consisting of multiple contracts. He was responsible for all construction operations at the hospital including managing the office and field personnel.
Jim Braun
Managing Member
Jim has 30 years experience in the construction industry. Having served in all aspects of the residential and commercial construction business, Jim started as a foreman working his way through many different positions during his career.
In his most recent position prior to establishing Construction Services Group LLC, Jim was the Project Manager responsible for the construction of a large expansion at Christiana Hospital. In this position, he was responsible to ensure the successful execution of the construction schedule, quality control, risk management, and safety compliance. He has managed numerous complex projects and has a proven record for fast track delivery of corporate, healthcare, educational, senior living and industrial facilities. Jim also was an active member of the safety committee and helped develop an employee safety incentive program.
